I brought my Iggy in for a burned paw. I had no idea what would happen and I was terrified that something awful would happen. The nurses and staff took such good care of my baby and explained the at home care and provided directions. I can't thank everyone there enough! Everyone I interacted with was kind, understanding, and took extra care of my baby Iggy The compassion

Updated my review from 1 star to 3 stars, due to your very fast response to my concerns and your very kind message. I can see you took my concerns very seriously and wish to do better. I will call and pay it the remainder of my bill today. The care my 2 year old, now deceased, beautiful little (Ivy) kitty received was good, the communication I received from Dr. Carver through the process and ultimate decision to euthanize was good. The BAD, and COMPLETELY INCONSIDERATE service happened when my son and I went to say our goodbye’s (kitty was still alive when we arrived) We were making our decision on what kind of memorial we were going to purchase $150-$250, The staff member informed me with of my outstanding balance of $900. When I questioned and asked for an itemized bill, they left us sitting in the “your pet is dying room” For OVER 1 HOUR!!!!! while they tallied up the itemized bill. Wouldn’t you have the itemized bill on the spot ready???? Why did it take over an hour to provide a bill? Why didn’t you let us have that time with our kitty as she was critical and quickly dying? THE BILL WAS NOT THE BIG CONCERN, I get it 💯, emergency vet is very expensive. I simply wanted to know what my $3000 went towards. I planning on adding another $250 to the $2000 deposit and $900 surprise bill for cremation and a nice memorial. When the doctor walked into the room with our deceased kitty in her arms, the rage in me was not well contained. I do believe she felt bad. HOW COULD YOU NOT? You left my son and I sitting in the death room for over an hour! Why???..because I asked for an itemized bill. Advice to you when you are getting paid $3000 from a customers who’s fur BABY IS DYING do better!!! I not so politely informed you to mail me the outstanding bill. When I was told we can not do that, I stated what are you going to do take it out of my purse. I think it’s only fair you wait a little longer for your $900 being that you made us wait over an hour while my kitty lay died in the next room. You took the time to add the charge for euthanizing to the itemized bill. You could have actually collected those funds, had you not made us wait in the death room for over an hour as our kitty passed on her own in the very next room. Were you trying to revive our kitty so you didn’t have to remove the euthanize charge? Or were you simply too focused on the bill? We will never know. I do know this, YOU robbed us from our goodbyes!!!!! I pray we find grace and forgiveness for you one day. We have a lot of animals and with you being the only 24 hour emergency vet in Fargo and surrounding areas, that makes me scared for me and others. I will close this review by letting you know, you broke this momma’s heart into a million pieces as I watched my son, sobbing digging the hole to bury his kitty. Thank you for the “free” not so free paw print, it was a little comfort in a horrible situation.

Our dog Murphy received professional and caring treatment when he needed it the most. Last weekend he got the best of both worlds. He got to indulge in chocolate (accidentally!) as a human and he got to safely return to his life as a dog. Honestly every interaction was very courteous, professional, and caring. I was very impressed. The staff's very efficient check-in and triage, especially noting that Murphy was in an emergency situation, was greatly appreciated.
